Ingredients
1 can pineapple chunks- save juice
1 pound ground chuck
1 egg beaten
2 slices fresh bread- crumbled
1 tablespoon onion- minced
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon allspice
2 tablespoons pineapple syrup
Sauce
1/3 cup pineapple syrup
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
Directions
Mix together beef, egg, bread crumbs, onions, cloves, allspice and pineapple syrup.
Mold small amount of mixture around a pineapple chunk.
Place meatballs in 13x9 x2 dish. Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at high for 4 minutes. Pour off meat juices.
Sauce-
Stir together pineapple juice,ketchup, brown sugar
.
Pour over drained meatballs. Microwave at high for 3 to 5 minutes until done.
Serve ideas:
Serve over noodles or hot rice.
Maybe served on toothpick as an appetizer
