( A real New England Mayflower Treat)
Scald 1 quart milk
Stir in 3 tbls corn meal.
Cook 20 mins stirring.
Add 3/4 cup molassas
1/ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Mix well.
Add to 22 oz bag of oyster crackers..(those little soup crackers) in a big bowl..
stir several times a day..at least a couple days keep for a week or more..real tasty!!
Bake in a buttered baking dish 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
I like cream or ice cream on top
