Quiche Lorraine
Ingredients
8 oz's shortcrust pastry
1 onion
1 small leek chopped
1/4 pint milk
3 eggs
2 0z's grated cheese
4 rashers bacon
seasoning
METHOD
Pre heat Oven Gas Mark 5 or electric 350
make pastry and line a 7 in sandwich tin with it
bake blind for 10 mins
chop the onion and bacon into small pieces then fry in margarine until tender Put them into pastry case
berat eggs stir in milk and seasoning and most of the cheese, add the chopped leek
pour this mixture into pastry case sprinkle rest of cheese on top
Bake until just set or golden brown for 35 to 40 mins
serve hot or cold
